Steerman Load Moving Skates

Steerman load moving skates comprise a steerable front section and a pair of adjustable rear trolleys. These innovative heavy-duty systems are available in capacities ranging from 10 to 60 tonne (individual configuration of steering and rear skates also allows higher capacities) and can be stripped down to component parts for easy transportation.

  • Special Composite Wheel - Hard Yet Protective to Expensive Coatings
    This unique material is machined from solid to produce the ideal wheel for use on modern industrial flooring. Hard enough to give incredibly low rolling resistance yet designed to protect expensive coated surfaces, unlike conventional metal wheeled skates.
  • Made from Spheroidal Graphite (SG) Iron - Extremely Strong with a Degree of Malleability
    This malleable material is immensely strong, is reproduced with total accuracy and is powder coated prior to assembly. Conventional steel fabricated units have to be much larger to achieve the same capacities and are therefore more cumbersome to use and transport.
  • 3 Point Loading System for a Safe & Stable Configuration
    It eliminates the risk of one skate rolling out from below the load. This design also ensures that loads are not carried on a reduced number of wheels when travelling.
  • Unique Turntable Design to Swivel Effortlessly
    A special cast nylon material has been developed for strength and light-weight. Large diameter thrust bearings allow these turntables to swivel effortlessly while the special composite material ensures both anti-slip properties and greater impact resistance.
