Aliens TAZ LOV2 Fall Arrest Device

LOV2 is the first and only fall arrest device worldwide that can be used as both a moving fall arrest device and descender on diagonal, tensioned, and freely hanging ropes.

• With the TAZ LOV2, rope technicians can replace up to 3 devices.

• 1) Moving fall arrest device (according to the manufacturer’s application example. Not EN 353-2 compliant)
• 2) Descender
• 3) Rope clamp (can be switched to descender mode, according to the manufacturer’s application example)

• For working at height, two devices can be replaced (in conjunction with LOV.ROPE):

• 1) Rope cutter for work positioning
• 2) Rescue device

• In combination with fall protection, abseiling, or positioning on tensioned ropes.

Example: In the event of a fall, the rope technician who is hanging in the LOV2 can self-evacuate without using any other system. The user could even abseil diagonally as long as there are no other obstacles to overcome.

(Note: The device complies with EN 12841 and EN 358 standards. The device does not comply with the EN 353-2 standard.)
