Origin Story
Crewsaver was first incorporated under the name ‘Crewsaver Marine Equipment Ltd’ in Gosport on the South coast of England. They’re proud to say their headquarters are still based here and located very close to their birthplace. Over the last 60+ years, Crewsaver have developed a specialist knowledge in what is known as Survival Technology. Their success in this area then prompted us to expand into general watersport sectors with their performance range of clothing, drysuits and liferafts.
Designed and developed with advanced testing procedures, Crewsaver's products are currently sold to 96 countries worldwide, and supported by a global network of corporate offices and 400 service stations.
In 2011, they were acquired bySurvitec, the world’s largest Survival Technology solutions provider, which has broadened and deepened their product portfolio and support network. They are now part of a team 3000+ strong and share a respectable brand portfolio which includes the likes ofHansen Protection,Lyngsoe RainwearandYak Adventure Equipment.
