Kong - Brake Plate Kisa
Brake plate to reduce the impact of the catch. The snatch shock absorber KISA (Kong Impact Shock Absorber) allows the use of two different diameters of rope, inserted in different openings to obtain different levels of friction and sliding.
The most suitable arrangement can vary according to one's own weight and the different types and conditions of the rope. For wet ropes, a lower braking effect is obtained. KISA can also be used to increase the safety of belay points (carabiners, plates, hooks) in critical situations/positions.
