The versatile Edelrid MEGAWATT is an intuitive and reliable descender that is perfect for industrial use or rescue operations. With a mobile flank and a weight of just 495 grams, the MEGAWATT is a lightweight powerhouse. It features a lever made of a two-component material with rubber inserts for maximum grip.
The integrated anti-panic function significantly reduces the risk of an accident in case of loss of control. This function responds immediately to rapid or uncontrolled descents, causing the device to block and come to a halt. This device is suitable for climbing ropes with a diameter of 10 - 11.8 mm, making it suitable for all applications when working at height.
It is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed users. Depending on the workplace and preferences, users can descend by pushing or pulling the lever. The Megawatt features an opening mechanism with a safety lock. Meets: EN 12841-C, EN 341-2A, EN 15151-1/8, and ANSI/ASSE Z359.4.
