The SKED® FOAM FLOTATION SYSTEM by SKEDCO has been designed to keep the Sked® in a near-vertical position in the water. It provides automatic alignment and reliably lifts the patient's head above the water surface – even in rough seas.
The combination of lateral floats, a chest pad, and a ballast weight not only allows for carrying the patient but also two additional rescuers in the water.
