- Hook only. For a complete suspension use part 3660 (swivel) or 3658 (rigid).
- Latch inspection. Replace the latch if it is damaged, bent or does not spring back tightly against the hook tip.

Lodestar Hoist Part - Upper Hook (Latch Type)
This is a Latch Type Upper Hook for Classic and Next Gen Lodestar Model R & RR Hoists.
This is the hook only, if you require the complete suspension assembly, use part number 3660 for Swivel Hook Suspension or 3658 for a Rigid Hook Suspension.
On latch type hooks, please check to make sure that the latch is not damaged or bent and that it operates properly with sufficient spring pressure to keep the latch tightly against the tip of the hook and allow the latch to spring back to the tip when released. If the latch does not operate properly, it should be replaced. See figure below to determine when the hook must be replaced.
