Petzl STRATO VENT - Lightweight and ventilated helmet
Made in France, the STRATO VENT helmet is very lightweight and comfortable, thanks to its CENTERFIT and FLIP&FIT systems, which guarantee that the helmet fits securely on the head. The adjustable-strength chinstrap makes it ideal for both work at height and on the ground.
It has ventilation holes that allow airflow through the helmet. With its potential for integration of a Petzl headlamp, hearing protection, and multiple accessories, it is an entirely modular helmet, thus responding to the specific additional needs of professionals.

- DUAL chinstrap allows the worker to adjust the chinstrap strength in order to adapt the helmet to different environments: work at height or work on the ground. The clip has two positions, corresponding to these two uses: high strength, limiting the risk of losing the helmet during a fall, and low strength, limiting the risk of strangulation if the helmet is snagged while the user is on the ground. The helmet meets the EN 12492 standard when the chinstrap strength is set to the >50 kg position

What is the EN 12492 standard?
EN 12492 is the European standard for mountaineering and work-at-height helmets. The STRATO VENT meets it when the DUAL chinstrap is set to the high-strength (>50 kg) position, which limits the risk of the helmet coming off during a fall.
What is an ANSI Z89.1 Type I helmet?
Type I helmets offer protection from blows to the top of the head.
What is a Class-C helmet?
According to OSHA, a Class-C helmet complying with ANSI Z89.1 specifications is acceptable on construction projects for protection against impact and penetration of falling and flying objects. Class C provides no protection against electrical hazards.
The DUAL chinstrap
The DUAL chinstrap lets you switch the strength of the chinstrap (>50 kg or <25 kg) to adapt the helmet to the hazards of your work environment: the high-strength setting limits the risk of the helmet coming off in a fall when working at height, while the low-strength setting releases the helmet if it is snagged at ground level, reducing the risk of strangulation.
