CM Lodestar Hoist Part - Upper Hook (Latch Type) - Large Frame J, L, LL
- Latch type upper hook. Fits Classic Lodestar Models J, L & LL.
- Hook only, no hardware. For a complete assembly select part 3661 (swivel) or 3651 (rigid).
- Latch inspection. Replace the latch if it is damaged, bent or does not spring back tightly against the hook tip.
- Hook removal criteria. See page 13 of the user manual for details.

Lodestar Hoist Part - Upper Hook (Latch Type)
This Latch Type Upper Hook fits Classic Lodestar models J, L & LL. This is the hook only and does not include any hardware. If you require the complete assembly, select part number 3661 for Swivel Hook Suspensions or 3651 for Rigid Hooks.
On latch type hooks, please check to make sure that the latch is not damaged or bent and that it operates properly with sufficient spring pressure to keep the latch tightly against the tip of the hook and allow the latch to spring back to the tip when released. If the latch does not operate properly, it should be replaced. See figure below to determine when the hook must be replaced.
