Doughty Quick Trigger Clamp T58200

This clamp is the basis of the Doughty Quick Trigger Clamps. Its design gives a high degree of safety by allowing one person to hang and secure heavy luminaires and fixtures on any points of a truss piece without obstruction. The spring-loaded jaws stay open and automatically close with the weight of the object being hung, leaving both hands free to position the load.

Thanks to the location of the lateral screw, this Doughty clamp can support a heavy-duty lantern at any points while other clamps cannot. For example, when rigging a light on a piece of truss, the cross beams of the truss can hinder a clamp from closing. As a result, operators need to move to another position, which may not be symmetrical. However, this Doughty clamp prevents this problem and the oversized wing nut allows operators to lock the clamp in place easily. It is also perfect for one-person rigging.

The base of the clamp T58200 / T58201 is slotted to hold an M10 or M12 bolt head or nut captive. This is an extremely useful clamp for hanging valuable luminaires safely and easily.
