- Remote pendant on PY-04. The motor is started under full load with the 1.5 m push-button pendant; the valve holds the load safely.
- Valve to suit the cylinder. 2/2-way or 3/3-way valves for single-acting cylinders, 4/3-way valves for double-acting cylinders.
- 230 V or 400 V. PY-04 models 0.37 kW at 230 V single-phase, PYE-03 models 0.35 kW at 380-420 V three-phase.
- Ready to use. Supplied with hydraulic oil and a carrying handle; pressure gauge not included with the PY-04 pumps.

Yale Hydraulic Power Pumps
Light-weight, yet powerful electric pumps, specifically designed for maintenance and repair jobs. The portable PY-04 units are two-stage pumps, while the PYE-03 power packs use a single-stage pump that delivers the same volume from 0 to 700 bar.
Operating pressure max. 700 bar. On the PY-04 pumps the motor is started via a remote pendant control (1.5 m) with push-button low voltage control; the PYE power packs are operated at the pack itself and are supplied with an on/off motor switch and a 3 m motor connecting cable. All pumps are supplied with hydraulic oil.
Note: pressure gauge not included with the PY-04 pumps.
Operation of the power pump PY-04/2/5/2 M:
The 2/2-way manual valve operates together with a pilot operated unloading valve, so that the two valve positions result in the following two control possibilities:
- Cylinder holds pressure after motor stop.
- Cylinder automatically retracts after motor stop.
The PY-04/2/5/4 M and PYE-03/3/10/4 M are fitted with a 4/3-way manual valve for double-acting cylinders; the PYE-03/3/10/3 M has a 3/3-way manual valve for single-acting cylinders. Manual valves have three lever positions: advance – hold – return.
