Yalelift 360 ATEX Chain Hoist: Revolutionary Chain Guide

The Yalelift 360 ATEX Chain Hoist opens up a new world of safety for the operator. Areas of applications, as well as the operating conditions, have been changed by a revolutionary hand chain design. The key to this innovation is the 360° rotating hand chain guide. The Yalelift 360 ATEX is available with capacities (WLL) from 500 kg to 20000 kg.

For Use in Explosive Atmospheres: The Yalelift 360™ ATEX hand chain hoist is the ideal manual hoist for harsh environments, exceeding requirements for a classic hand chain hoist. It is designed according to the European ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU.

Safety Under Control: The Yalelift 360 chain hoist is for heavy industrial applications and revolutionizes every operation. By means of the 360° rotating hand chain guide, the user can operate the hoist from all directions and is no longer directly within the danger zone as before.

Flexible Operation: The Yalelift 360 can be operated safely and efficiently from all positions, even from the side of the load. This means greater flexibility of the working position.

Work From Above: The flexibility of the Yalelift 360 allows the operator to work from directly above the load. The advantage of this application is you can have a long lift whilst using a relatively short hand chain. The revolutionary chain guide ensures a precise and smooth chain operation at all times.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • EXPLOSION PROTECTION & SPARK RESISTANCE
Designed for explosive environments with a spark-resistant coating. From the ATEX Medium version, copper-plated bottom blocks/hooks are used; the High version features a stainless steel load chain. A brake hub with cooling fins helps to comply with temperature class T4.
  • LOW HEADROOM
Extremely low headroom allows for maximum use of the lifting height.
  • BUILT TO LAST
All internal gears and pinions are made of heat-treated steel for high strength and long life.
  • ULTIMATE VERSATILITY
Patented hand chain cover rotates a full 360 degrees to allow loads to be lifted, pulled or positioned from virtually any angle. In addition to providing maximum versatility, this unit offers a convenient way to manoeuvre loads without standing under the load.
  • TRUSTED RELIABILITY
The integrated load pressure brake provides positive load control and secures the load in any position.
  • SUPERIOR HOOK DESIGN
Drop-forged load and suspension hooks made of high-tensile steel yield under overload instead of breaking. Hooks rotate 360° and are fitted with robust safety latches.

WHAT DOES EXPLOSION PROTECTION ACHIEVE?

Explosion protection can mean to generally prevent the ignition of an explosive mixture. Explosion protection can also be achieved by eliminating potential ignition sources in advance, e.g. high temperatures and sparking.

In many trades and industries, combustible gases, vapours and dusts are handled which have the potential to cause explosions.

Therefore, explosion protection for electrical and mechanical machinery is an important precautionary measure to ensure the safety of persons and all kinds of production, storage and distribution systems.

EXAMPLES OF EXPLOSION HAZARDS IN VARIOUS INDUSTRIES

  • Offshore industry
  • Chemical industry
  • Energy supply
  • Shipbuilding
  • Waste disposal and recycling companies

GENERAL INFORMATION

How to use a Chain Hoist?
Hand chain hoists are designed to lift or lower a load by pulling one chain with both hands. The small pulling force applied is transformed over a long distance to a large force over a short distance to move a heavy item. They are also commonly known as hand hoists or chain blocks. Sometimes, block and tackle or chain falls have the same meaning as hand chain hoists.
