Knuckle Joints - Doughty Engineering

Knuckle joint is a mechanical joint used in structures for connecting two intersecting cylindrical rods, whose axes lie on the same plane.

It is free to rotate about the axis of a knuckle pin.

Knuckle joints provide articulation in a length of barrel and are Ideal for use in special one-off applications. Due to the simple and easy design, it can be quickly dismantled and assembled. The aluminium knuckle joint parts are offered individually as round shank foot castings and pivot plugs in four sizes and are specified by the manufacturer as suitable for welding only.
