All job sites present any number of challenges to workers whether they are working at height or around heavy machinery. The job of an arborist is no different, posing many potential hazards to those in this line of work. Specialising in tree care, arborists spend much of their day suspended at a height pruning trees and undertaking emergency tree care with the use of a chainsaw. In order to undertake this highly complex work, wearing the correct safety gear is an essential aspect to keeping safe and being seen.
Therefore, we are delighted to be introducing Arbortec to our online shop, a company dedicated to creating the best protective footwear, clothing and accessories for those working in the arboriculture and forestry industries.
Established in 1990, back when stiff and heavy chainsaw boots were the norm, Arbortec set about challenging the status quo by creating a range of lightweight, comfortable and waterproof footwear. Fast forward to 2010 and following the success of their footwear, the company, now with greater knowledge and experience began to create a range of chainsaw apparel.
