- WLL 200 kg. Long flying irons attach to scenery panels and are supplied with an M8 bow shackle.
- Flat or lipped versions. The flat iron (T64300) suits mid-frame use; the lipped iron (T64200) lifts panels from the lower rail.
- Strong lifting point. The lip fits flush to the lower rail, the recommended lifting position.
- Zinc plated mild steel. 300 x 30 mm iron bolted to timber through 3 x 6 mm fixing holes.

Doughty Scenery Fixing - Long Flying Iron
Long flying irons are attached to scenery panels for lifting. They have a WLL of 200kg and are supplied with an M8 Bow Shackle. Available as flat (T64300) or lipped (T64200) versions. The flat iron can be used mid frame where it would not be suitable to use a lipped iron. The lipped flying iron has been designed to lift scenery panels from the lower rail. The lip is generally fitted flush to the lower rail providing a strong lifting source.
Note: It is recommended that scenery panels are lifted from the lower rail. The iron is designed to be bolted to timber with 3 x countersunk 6mm machine screws, nuts and washers; the assembly is only as strong as the timber. For any inquiries, please contact us via chat.
