However, 3M makes no warranties as to the suitability of the NRR for this purpose. 3M strongly recommends personal fit testing of hearing protectors. Research suggests that users may receive less noise reduction than indicated by the attenuation label value(s) on the packaging due to variation in fit, fitting skill, and motivation of the user. Refer to applicable regulations or guidance on how to adjust attenuation label values. It is recommended that the NRR be reduced by 50% to better estimate typical protection

Our earplugs are worn by many workers as they satisfy quick spot in compliance checks whilst also being super soft and comfortable. They have a smooth texture for in-ear comfort and are made of an advanced slow recovery foam formulation for all day wearability. These one size fits all earplugs, effectively and comfortably seal the ear canal, providing a higher attenuation suitable for many high noise applications. Provides noise reduction to 34 dB SNR and fully tested and approved against EN 352-2:2020. Model is compatible for use with the 3M™ E-A-RFit™ Dual-Ear Validation System and available as a probed plug. Available in refill bottles and bags for use with 3M™ E-A-R™ One Touch™ Pro Earplug Dispenser for convenient on site easy access to hearing protection with reduced waste.
