Skylotec AXIS HMS SGL Carabiner
The Skylotec AXIS HMS SGL Carabiner is a large HMS carabiner made of hot-forged aluminium alloy with a screwgate and a wide opening. Developed for applications in mountaineering, rescue operations and for belaying and rope manoeuvres. The generous shape allows the use of a Munter hitch as well as clipping in multiple ropes, slings or devices at the same time.
Unlike the standard SG model, the SGL features an ACL system (anti cross-loading) that prevents cross-loading at the belay point, further increasing safety in use. The double-T profile ensures an excellent weight-to-strength ratio. The keylock system prevents snagging when clipping in and out. UIAA compliant.
