Skylotec AXIS HMS TG Carabiner

The Skylotec AXIS HMS TG Carabiner is a large HMS carabiner made of aluminium alloy with a wide gate opening and an automatic triple-lock gate. Developed for applications in mountaineering, rescue operations and belaying and rope manoeuvres. The generous shape allows the use of a Munter hitch as well as clipping in multiple ropes, slings or devices at the same time.

Unlike the SG model, the TG carabiner offers an automatic triple-lock gate for maximum safety, ideal for applications where accidental opening of the gate must be ruled out. The double-T profile ensures an excellent weight-to-strength ratio. The keylock system prevents snagging when clipping in and out. UIAA compliant.

The AXIS HMS TG carries EN 362:2004 (Type A/T), EN 12275:2013 (Type H) and UIAA 121 certification, with a 25 kN major axis strength and a 30-year maximum service life when properly maintained and inspected.
