3M™ Bair Hugger™ Multi-Position Upper Body Warming Blanket, 62200 is a single-use, upper-body forced-air warming blanket that helps to prevent hypothermia and maintain normothermia, which has been shown to reduce the rate of complications such as surgical site infections (SSI) (2,3). This easy-to-use warming blanket can accommodate a wide range of surgical positions and procedures.

The 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Multi-Position Upper Body Warming Blanket, 62200 was inspired by the clinician’s need to Optimise and maximize patient body surface coverage. This forced-air warming blanket bends and conforms to the patient’s body to help maintain normothermia, which has been shown to support positive patient outcomes by helping reduce the risk of surgical site infection (SSI)(2,3).

  The 3M™ Bair Hugger™ Multi-Position Upper Body Warming Blanket, 62200 is constructed with soft, radiolucent materials and designed with two re-sealable hose ports to enable flexible positioning. When deployed, the attached clear head drape and two neck vents keep warm air around an intubated patient’s head and allow observation. Once placed, the integrated tie strips and continuous adhesive strip help secure the blanket in place.

  3M™ Bair Hugger™ Temperature Management Solutions provide a wide range of patient warming and temperature monitoring products to help clinicians keep a patient’s core body temperature within the normothermic temperature zone of 36.0° to 37.5°C (1,2) and safeguard patients while improving outcomes.
