Skylotec ROLLNLOCK Multifunction Rope Ascender

The Skylotec ROLLNLOCK is an ultralight multifunction device for rope access techniques and rescue operations. Compact and easy to use, it offers three operating modes: ascender, pulley or anti-return hoist. Different-coloured side plates make it easier to tell which mode is active at a glance.

Switching between modes is intuitive and possible even with gloves or in difficult conditions. The compact design and low weight make the device easy to carry on the harness. This device is not a fall arrester (EN 353-2 / EN 12841-A) and must not be used for self-belay while climbing.

Rope and Standards Compatibility

The ROLLNLOCK works with rope diameters from 8 to 13 mm depending on mode (10-13 mm to EN 12841, 8-13 mm to EN 567, up to 13 mm to EN 12278), and is built from aluminium for use between -30 °C and 40 °C with a 30-year maximum service life.
