Tees, Elbows and Crosses

Straight joints include the Short Tee and Long Tee, while corner fittings include the 90-Degree Elbow and 3-Way 90-Degree Elbow for junctions in three directions. The Two Socket Cross and 90 Degree Crossover join four directions at a fixed right angle, and the Two Socket Cross Adjustable Centre 30-60° and Angled Cross (10-35° or 30-45°) allow angles other than 90°.

Angled Fittings for Sloped Applications

Where a handrail or barrier follows a ramp or slope rather than level ground, the range includes the Angled Elbow 4-10°, Angled Single Socket Tee 4-10°, Angled Two Socket Tee 4-10° and Angled Railing Base Flange, giving a fixed slight angle rather than a flat 90° connection.

Base Flanges and Floor Fixings

The Base Flange and Railing Base Flange anchor a vertical tube to the floor, with the Railing Side Support Horizontal Base adding lateral support where extra stability is needed.

Swivel Fittings

Where a connection needs to rotate rather than sit at a fixed angle, the Swivel Tee/Socket (available as female, male or complete assembly), Swivel Base, and Double Male Swivel allow angled connections that a fixed fitting can't accommodate. The Swivel Elbow/Tee Combo and Swivel Tee Combination combine two functions in one fitting.

Joining and Finishing Tube

For scaffold-style tube joins, the Solid Steel Tube Joiner, Pipe Joiner and Pipe to Pipe Coupler (38mm or 48mm) connect tube end to end, while the Scaffold Swivel Clamps and Scaffold Double Coupler, available in drop forged or pressed steel, join tube at fixed or variable angles depending on load requirements. To finish an open tube end, the Plastic Stop End caps it safely.

Combination and Modular Fittings

For assemblies needing to combine multiple connection types in one part, the Combination Socket Tee and Two Socket Crossover reduce the number of separate fittings needed on a complex frame. The Clamp On Tee attaches to existing tube without cutting into the run.

Locking Elbows and Chain Hooks

The Locking Elbows, available in four plug sizes, lock a joint in a fixed position rather than allowing pivot, and the Chain Hook provides a fixed point for hanging chain or light equipment from the frame.

Speedrail Fittings

The Speedrail Adjustable Crossover and Speedrail Railing Side Support are part of Doughty's Speedrail sub-range, with stainless steel screws stocked separately for replacement or expansion.

Tools and Accessories

The Pipeclamp Allen Key is sized for tightening the fittings in this range, and the Locking Collar prevents a fitting sliding along the tube once positioned. For extending tube length, the Tube/Barrel Joiner fits internally for a cleaner finish than an external clamp.
