Are the SEQUOIA shoulder straps PPE (personal protective equipment)?
No. The shoulder straps are a comfort and carrying accessory. They serve solely to distribute load and to attach an SRS ascent system — they are not approved for fall protection and do not replace a PPE-approved chest harness (e.g., the Petzl TOP).
Are MINO carabiners included?
Yes, the three MINO accessory carabiners used to connect the shoulder straps to the harness are included. An additional MINO carabiner (not included) is required to attach an SRS ascent system to the chest strap.
