Low Speed Electric Winches
Industries such as steel manufacturing in the world use low-speed electric winches to control large input and output doors for its “flue gas recirculation” installation. By controlling these doors, a higher flue gas flow rate can be circulated because more negative pressure can be created behind the doors.
A low speed is needed to operate the doors very accurately since abrupt movements can affect the process, which is why the winch is equipped with a grooved drum with a pressure roller. There is also an encoder on this winch that ensures that the operator is aware of the position of the screens. The speeds of these winches are less than 0,4 m/min.

This winch was specially made for low-speed operations, starting at 0.3 metres per minute, making it perfect for lifting more fragile loads. This winch is EN 14492 compliant with IP54 and IP55 protection classifications and features a low voltage pendant switch with a 2 metre cable. This large worm gear hand winch has, as the name implies, a worm gear transmission. This type of transmission, in combination with the load-pressure brake, ensures optimal safety for the operator. This winch offers ease of use and can be mounted in any position, making it a versatile choice. The Gebuwin Worm Gear Hand Winch also offers cable storage space of up to a whopping 120 metres! This winch is EN13157 compliant in its lifting and pulling mechanisms with an adjustable crank and a load pressure brake with double ratchet systems for a safe and stable hold of the load in any position, making it suitable for wall and floor mounting.
