    Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the plated and tested and plated versions?
Both are rated to the same 230Kg WLL and conform to DIN 582, but the tested variant (T42201) has been individually load-tested, giving documented proof of that test if your venue or production requires it, rather than relying on design-rated capacity alone.
Can I use an M10 eye nut for an angled lift, or only straight up?
DIN 582 eye nuts are generally rated for vertical loads only. Pulling at an angle can significantly reduce the safe load, so keep the lift as close to vertical as possible.
Which finish should I choose, plated or black?
Both share the same 230Kg WLL and M10 thread; the choice comes down to appearance and how the fitting needs to blend with your rig, plated for a natural silver look, or black to match darker equipment.
