Barrel Strainers for Fine Tensioning
The Doughty Barrel Strainers/Turnbuckles, available in M8 and M10 bolt sizes, let you adjust the tension of a wire rope or safety line after it's installed, by turning the central barrel to draw the two threaded ends together or apart. This makes small tension corrections possible without disconnecting or re-cutting the line.
Hook and Eye Strainers
The Doughty Hook and Eye Strainers combine a hook fitting on one end with an eye on the other, connecting directly to a shackle, bracket or eye bolt without needing a separate connector. This suits installations where one end needs to hook onto an existing fitting rather than bolt through it.
