Les pinces à plaque horizontales THK partagent les mêmes caractéristiques de conception de base que la gamme de pinces CH, mais ont une conception de mâchoire à dents inversées. Ce dispositif de sécurité est conçu pour être utilisé avec des feuilles minces qui peuvent avoir tendance à se déformer, à s'affaisser ou à se plier.
Adapté à une plaque mince avec une dureté de surface inférieure à 300 Brinell/32 Rockwell C.
