Frequently Asked Questions

Does the B099AB00 screw fit any ASAP LOCK, or only a specific version?

It is specifically compatible with the current ASAP LOCK reference B071BB00, available since April 2026. Older ASAP LOCK versions (references B71ALU or B071BA00) require the other replacement screw instead (B099AA00).

How do I find out which ASAP LOCK reference I have before ordering the screw?

The reference number is stamped on the device itself. Check this before ordering, since the two screw versions are not interchangeable, and ordering the wrong one means it won't fit your device.

What exactly is this screw needed for on the ASAP LOCK?

It secures the device's connecting arm, which makes the system fall-safe when passing intermediate anchors. In case of wear or loss of the original screw, this replacement is important to maintain full functionality of the connecting arm.

Why are there two different versions of this replacement screw?

The ASAP LOCK received an update in April 2026, moving from reference B071BA00 to B071BB00. Since technical details changed as part of this update, the new version requires a different replacement screw (B099AB00) than the older models (B099AA00).
