Arbortec Scafell Chainsaw Boot

The Scafell is handcrafted with a single piece leather making it the best quality and most durable boot from the Arbortec range. The Scafell has been designed for foresters and arborists alike.

To ensure the best level of protection, the Scafell is certified to Class 2 (24m/s) chainsaw protection also features a steel toe cap and a puncture-resistant midsole. The Vibram® heat and chemical resistant sole unit backed with the Vibram® rubber randing to enhance the footwear’s durability making it a very popular choice for those working with utility companies.

Breathedry is a breathable waterproofing system making the footwear suitable for a range of different environments.

The Scafells are a handcrafted Italian boot produced from full-grain Anfibio leather upper with a fully leather lined inner to increase the comfort, breathability, and support. The XT2 Sportflex inserts reduce the risk of an ankle injury while providing arch support.

FOOTWEAR MAINTENANCE

To preserve your Arbortec boots and ensure longevity it is extremely important that they are maintained correctly. Arbortec recommends cleaning and treating your boots with products from our range, that have been chosen specifically, and follow the guidelines set out below.

  1. Always clean your boots regularly
  2. Leather footwear: thoroughly clean your footwear with the recommend gel, polish off then finish with a waterproofing cream such as Chelsea Dubbin Cream, Nikwax.
  3. Nubuck/Suede footwear: brush away all dirt and contaminants then follow with the specialist Nubuck and Suede waterproofing products available from Arbortec.
  4. Never clean with solvents of any kind.
  5. Do not leave your footwear in direct sunlight or force dry.
  6. Ensure your footwear is completely dry before wearing them to prevent the formation of mildew and unpleasant smells.
